Training and perfecting the art of dressage requires enormous technical knowledge and, above all, the ability to "transmit".
Throughout over 25 years of professional dressage life, Brooke has seen for herself that the most difficult thing is not what one explains, but how well it is heard. "It is difficult to lead people in uncharted territory." Clients find great confidence in the fact that she has experienced and gone through all the situations which one must face in reaching their dressage goals.
In 2004, Brooke was awarded the ODS Instructor of the Year award, an award sponsored in memory of her influential aunt, Mary Ann Judkins. Brooke has helped many of her students reach their riding goals, whether they included competing at training level or preparing for FEI competitions. Brooke's students have also won several ODS, USDF Regional and year-end championships . In addition, Brooke has helped develop several riders from the lower levels up through to Grand Prix and on into National Competitions. She is a positive coach and mentor who teaches her students to ride with harmony and expression.
