"The most compelling aspect of dressage, from my perspective, is the powerful bond between horse and rider that it demonstrates, encompassing work, sport, and art." - Brooke
Brooke Voldbaek- Rider/Instructor/Trainer
Welcome to Pirouette Dressage Center:
Brooke was introduced to dressage through her aunt, accomplished Northwest dressage trainer Mary Ann Judkins. Her association with Mary Ann gave her a strong foundation in dressage at a young age, which has led to an extremely successful riding and training career. Brooke finished the 2017 and 2016 seasons as the NW Regional Champion and ranked #1 in the US. In 2015 she trained and rode the 4-year-old mare Generosa S (Uphill-Zen Rosa, Farrington) to the Markel/USEF Developing Horse Championships Four Year-Old Test and earned the Reserve Championship title with a score of 79.2%. Brooke's first successful FEI horse was the Lipizzan Stallion Conversano II Pirouette, owned by Spring Creek Lipizzan. Brooke later had the opportunity purchase Servano who is now 32 years old and retired at her home. Brooke has trained several horses to FEI, won numerous ODS and USDF regional championships through the FEI levels and earned her USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals. Furthermore, she has been ranked in the "Top 20" in the nation for USDF Horse of the Year and All Breed Awards multiple times.
